Siobhan Johnstone
Founder
Siobhan Johnstone is an international aerial performer, specialising in aerial silks, aerial hoop and acrobatics. Siobhan trained as a gymnast from the age of 5, taking numerous titles during her competitive career. Alongside her training Siobhan also taught, both elite squad and recreational gymnasts, gaining multiple coaching qualifications. After training in flying trapeze at circus schools in California, Thailand and Bristol, her love for aerial was born! Since 2012 Siobhan has been performing all around the world for a huge variety of events, alongside teaching aerial to all levels, from hobbyist to professional aerialists.
Charly Mead
Coach
Charly began her aerial journey in Manchester at Cloud Aerial Arts trying numerous aerial disciplines and finding her love for aerial hoop. She has completed instructor qualifications with both Spin City and Flying Fantastic and has been part of the Silk & Steel team since 2019.
Cathy Hayward
Coach
Cathy began training with Silk & Steel Studio in 2019 and enjoys all of the aerial disciplines! She is passionate about technique and recently completed her instructor qualification with Flying Fantastic.
